I haven't died or nothing, I've just been extremely lazy, and a lot of stuff has come up. Well, the last time I posted would have been last Tuesday, wow-the paintball post. Well, I guess I'll have to fill you all in on this past week.

Wednesday-double date with Cameron, Shannon, Cambra, and me. I was with Cambra, and by default, you can guess the other date. We went down to good old Naples, and hiked a ravine. Let me tell you, it was fun, but extremely wet. It started raining halfway through, and that's when our little hike ended up actually in the ravine. I had a lot of fun, and thanks for the great time you guys. Well, afterwards, we went back to Shannon's to get new clothes and get warm, and my pants were totally soaked, and had nothing to wear. So Shannon gives me some of her pajama pants-super girly-it was pretty hot, even if they did come up to my knees almost. Next stop, Cameron's house where we watched The Recruit-good movie, really gets your mind in a twist though, and we had some amazing brownie treat thingy-which made me super sick, oh yeah, and pizza before that. Celebration of Cameron's B-Day, which I might say is the second best day of the year, October 6th being the best, because it has such a deep history. But really it isn't, cause it has a pretty bad history, except for Cameron's B-day (some may say otherwise). These guys are super amazingly mad-awesome. I love you guys! and thanks for the great time on the ravine hike!!!

Thursday-Don't really remember. I did go to work 5-8, and actually stayed longer cause a busfull of lacrosse kids came in seven minutes before I was supposed to leave. The rest of Thursday will be forgotten in my book. And my parents went on a little get-away to Niagra, leaving me alone with the sisters and dogs.

Friday-In the morning-worked moving boxes and stuff with a guy-made some good money. Next-took Bailey to swimming lessons for a little bit. Then-movie night at church. Our choices of movies-Incredibles, Sky Captain and yadayadayada, and The Best Two Years(church movie based upon a play which my uncle was in like 30 years ago). So instead of watching that stuff, Cameron and I went out to my car and watched Shanghai Noon on my DVD player-a much better movie than what was offered.

Saturday-Work in the morning, came back at about 3. Don't remember much of the day until about 9-went to see a movie-The Interpeter. I'll give a quick rating- * * *-too much talking-not a lot of action. And it was very confusing with all of those weird names, and all of the people looked the same. I kept asking myself, didn't that guy already die? Then I realized it was somebody else, and I had no idea who. I advise you not to see it-not very great. Save time and money for something better, like Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy. And BBC is actually making a guide to be used on cell phones and such-based upon www.wikipedia.org. That place has a bunch of cool stuff, and anybody can write there.

Back to Thursday-went to the mall and got a tux for the junior prom next Saturday, then got my haircut. Nifty nifty-looks like I didn't though.

Sunday-took up a challenge with a friend who came back from college-Will-not to cut my hair until the end of the summer. He and another guy, Mike, and now me, are going to go through the whole summer without cutting our hair. That's a ways away.

Monday-back to school-and senioritis is really kicking in. Hopefully it will go away at the beginning of next year, or i'm going to have a rough time in school.

Today, Tuesday-Finally caught up to the here and now, which by the time you read it is the there and was. Did the pacer in gym, got 66-haha, beat that suckers. almost the evil number of 666-but if you took the period (3), and the day (B, which can also be 2), and multiply them together, then you get 666-oh no, the devil's number! I'm cursed. Oh well.

Tuesday...paintball and great news

I got up this morning, and got ready to play some extreme cool paintball with my friends in the woods behind my house. There were seven of us total-Chris, Joe, Mark, Mike, Anthony, Nelson, and me. We got everything ready, and headed out. And here are games below:


First Match: Deathmatch
Team One-Joe, Mike, Me
Team Two-Chris, Anthony, Mark, Nelson

We find a more open spot in the woods, and split off into teams, and begin. First, we had the other team coming in on us, so Mike and Me split off from Joe, and this is where Mike got a hit off of Anthony, right in the butt when he was hiding behind a tree. Then Mike gets shot and is out. Joe runs past me, trying to flank, and so do Chris and Nelson from our side. So I get on the ground and wait for them to come in on my position, and Chris starts to move. Then he frickin' breaks his gun and turns back. Time out: Chris gets another gun, time in. Joe moves in near me, and the other team starts to come to our other side. So Joe runs past them and comes in from behind, trying to push them onto my position. I was going to go in for the many kills, but see Mark looking into the woods near my direction, so I wait. Then Joe runs out of paint-out of the game. It's only me and three on the other team. They're talking about cutting into the woods, right on top of me. But Mark, him and his amazing skills tells them to go farther back and then cut in. Dang, another chance missed. So they pass me on the other side, and I start to move with them, trying to get closer and get a better shot. But Mark sees me cause of my stupid hat. They pin me, I'm on the ground behind some trees. I shoot at Nelson, but none hit, and then I feel something hit my boot, look down and see that I got hit. Dang, so close so many times.

Second Game: CTF
Team One-Chris, Mike, Me
Team Two-Joe, Anthony, Nelson
Referee-Mark

This one we did in an open field, with the flag on top of a dirt mound. First, we had the higher ground, and the other team had better cover. We run and move for the flag, and get opened on, so we hide behind telephone poles. Chris gets out, and the other team grabs the flag. So I just run and storm in, trying to get the guy with the flag. And wow, did I get shot up-the leg, the gun, and the mask. Mike gets hit, our team is out.
We switch sides, and my team just sprints for the flag. I move out into the field more to try to get a flanking shot, but get shot at by all three on the other team, so I hide behind a telephone pole. But when I was running for it, I got Anthony right in the mask, on the side of the nose. Only kill I got the entire day. Bummer. But I run back and get behind a hill, and I hear a bunch of paintballs whizzing over my head. Then I feel a shot hit me in the back of the shoulder. So I yell that I'm out, and get up, still yelling it with my hands up. And Nelson points his gun at me and starts shooting, hitting my in the hand. Grrrr...I was out and he frickin shot me again. So I walk to where Mark and Anthony are, and look to see where I got hit on the arm, and there was nothing there. So I really wasn't out, but I got hit in the hand anyways. This is when we got busted. The cops came in, and we all immediately put our guns down and quit firing. We were really super nice to him, so we didn't get in trouble, and he just told us that we were on city property and let us of with a warning...whew.

Third Game: The Cookout
Team One: Mark, Joe, Anthony, Nelson, Chris, Mike, Me
Team Two: hot dogs and burgers

We whip out the grill and get it started, and start grilling up some dogs and burgers. Inside, we were getting hydrated, drinking some soda. I also got on and showed them some pretty funny commercials about the Ford Sportka. Cameron showed them to me yesterday, and they are hilarious. Go check them out, links are at the bottom of the page. Then, I showed them another car commercial, and there's a car driving along the road, and you can see some mist in the form of a person by the side of the car, and you can hear something too, but the sound's not great, so remember to turn up your speakers. It's kind of spooky, that misty thing following the car-check it out for yourself. Oh, let it load up fully first, or it will lag a little, and you'll miss it.
So, back to the cookout. Dogs and burgers are ready, and we dig in. I think you know who the winner of this match was. We then took a little break, to let the food settle in, and watched some Viva La Bam-hilarious show.

Fourth Game: Hostage
Team One: Anthony, Mike, Me
Team Two: Mark, Joe, Nelson
Hostage: Chris

We played this more in the woods, on an open strip where the telephone poles ran. We had Chris first as the hostage, and camped around, while the other team came in. They first saw Mike, and just feet where I was hidden. I had a great spot, an opening in front, and I had some straw all over my helmet to camouflage me a little better. they then move in a little more, and I open fire. And again, not a single person hit. So, I get hit in the arm, and yell that I'm out, and they keep shooting, and so I get hit in the arm about 3 or 4 more times, and right in the middle of my mask. And I just yelled at them that I was out, and was just about to keep shooting at them. And then, they got Chris, game over.
We switch roles, the other team has Chris. Mark and Anthony go through the telephone way, and I sneak into the woods a little, and find a nice little path to try and get them from behind. But Joe does the same thing, and spots me. I jump further into the woods, and start to creep up on them. I see them-right in front of me, and Chris starts moving up. Then Joe spots me and starts shooting, I do to, and pin him behind a tree. I again did not hit him at all. Then Nelson comes in, and I get hit in the arm, out once more, and Mike and Anthony got out as well. And that was a wrap for the day.

We go back to Chris's and play some Halo 2 for a bit. I then go home and take a shower, cause i'm all sweaty and covered in paint, and wow, was it hot today-80 in the shade. So I come down, and see a letter for me laying on the couch. And what does it say? It says that I've been invited to become a member of the National Honor Society!! That's right, I made it in!! Mad Awesome, total greatness, and it's great!! And that's what happened today.

It's Monday Morning, the first day off for spring break

Yep, i had cameron and matt over, and at midnight, we went over to tops and got 3 12-packs of dew, and it was only like 10 bucks. What a great deal. You should go and do it right this instant before the sale runs out. So, we drink like 4 dews each, and watch Zoolander-great movie. And we realized that there's a bunch of big name actors in the movie-so crazy, like Winona Ryder. But yeah, we were really tired after the movie, and all of a sudden, the dew kicked in, and we were wired.

We played Halo 2, the greatest game that was ever made, and i've spent more time playing it these past 6 months than all the time accumulated that i've spent playing video games my entire life. So, we played until 4, and then i went to sleep, cause I had to watch Bailey in the morning, and when i woke up at 7, matt and cameron were still up playing halo 2, and it's 9 right now, and they're in there playing ddr right now, still kickin'. They're gonna crash soon, and i'll be the only one left standing...muahahahahahaha!!! I rule the world!

And that's that for the first night of spring vacation in an entire week when i do nothing. But I will still make this a mad awesome break. OH YEAH!! (in the voice of duff man)

Mad Awesome Review Friday #2

Yeah, I know that it's Saturday, but after I saw this movie, it was 11:30 at night, and I didn't feel like writing up a review. And this Friday, the movie i'll be reviewing is Sin City. I really enjoyed this movie, and a lot of my friends did as well. But most of them were guys, so this would probably be a movie for dudes-they would get the most thrill out of it.

But yeah, instead of being just one storyline, there are actually three, and a minor fourth. I won't say much, but one's about a guy getting revenge for his lover, a cop trying to keep a girl safe, and another guy who tries to keep the prostitues safe and stay independent-no pimps and such. and the minor one is an assassin. Most of the movie is in black and white, and works well with the shadows, and the bright whites. There is color every once in a while, a lot on the women, and there's an orange guy, and also blood. And all of this color, just bits and pieces in a mostly black and white world, looks really really cool. The violence, like cutting off arms and such was a little out of the ordinary, like blood just spurting everywhere, and a lot of times, when somebody gets shot, they keep on going. They'll get shot like 20 times, and still be alive and kickin'. There were some funny parts as well, and some parts that were kind of disgusting, but overall, I really enjoyed it. And the acting couldn't be better. So many big names, like Bruce Willis, Jessica Alba, and Elijah Wood, and Michael Clark Duncan along with co-directing by Quentin Tarantino, who did Kill Bill.

Overall, I will give this movie a ****1/2. It was a really well done movie, but there were parts that they really could have taken out. But, hey, that's America for you.

The VA Beach Trip Part 7

This is the last VA Beach trip post, and this one's about the time we spent at Busch Gardens. The first ride-Alpengeist. For those of you here in upstate, it is similar to Mind Eraser, but this ride is a thousand times better. You just cannot beat it. It's higher, and the loops and such are better, and you don't get a headache from hitting your head on the padding.

Then Apollo's Chariot, an awesome ride. It's similar to the Superman, about 10 feet higher, but not as good as the Superman. One reason-there's a small tiny hill right at the top, so all of your fears heading up the hill just go away after this first one. But, this is still an awesome roller coaster.

Next, Lochness. I went on this one with Cameron, and we met this cool dude in line. He first saw Cameron's shirt, which said "chick magnet" on it-and when one looks at Cameron, he looks far from a chick magnet. So this guy's joking about it, asking if I was Cameron's chick. Haha, very funny. NOT! But anyways, a girl from our school behind us in line sees Cameron, and she's a pretty good looking girl. She screams out his name and says something about her day, then this girl in front of us, also not bad looking screams Cameron's name, and jumps up and down all excited. And this guy just looks at Cameron, and he's like, "whoa, you really are a chick magnet". It couldn't have gone any better than that. So I find out that he lives in Texas, in the Fort Worth area, exactly where I lived around 1995, and I was telling him that was pretty cool. And he tells us he's in college, and he would go to these frat parties, uninvited, and would just walk in, and ask for a girl named Sarah, but he doesn't really know a Sarah. And the people there are like, "yeah, Sarah's over there", and this guy then asks where the beer is, and gets his fill. Mad funny.

Well, there was another roller coaster, the Big Bad Wolf, that we didnt' go on-and this is a wussy coaster, no thrills at all. We went on this water ride called Pompeii, and when we came down the hill, the wave comes up, and Cameron and I duck, soaking everybody behind us, and we had a couple of drops on us. Then, we went on this rapids ride in the circle raft, and wow, did we get soaked. I wasn't wet at all until the end, and so I stuck my body out and totally got soaked by the water fall, and man was it cold. Holy crap. I was wet the rest of the day, and even on the way home, my clothes were still a little damp.

Then, the last ride of the day-Apollo's Chariot. This is when I got my picture perfect shot at the end that I've been trying to go for all day, but have been seconds late. Like the first time we went on this coaster, my fingers were in position, but I couldn't get my arms in the right spot. But you got Mark in front of me with thumbs up and this innocent, smiling face, and then right behind, there's me, and I'm just going crazy, and my hair's all back and my face is mad funny, and I'll tell you no more, cause it is kind of bad. But it does look a heck of a lot like that farmer coach that you can't understand from The Waterboy, it's the part where the Waterboy throws the football for the game winning touchdown-this farmer coach makes the gesture, and I did just that.

This picture, if you click on it and see the bigger picture, it's a little fuzzy. Well that's because we were walking along in a group, and I whip out my camera, and stop for a second to take a shot, and Cameron just totally gets my elbow into his face just when I take the picture.

We ate some Italian food and watched some show with people singing and dancing, then we started to make our way out, and I bought a Busch Gardens hat, and we were on our way back home. We started watching Signs on my DVD player, and this time I got to sit closer to my friends, and next to this girl who I don't know, but then they put on Newsies, and totally destroyed our movie. So, I slept, and tried to sleep and tried to sleep some more, but it was impossible. And throughout this whole four day trip, I got maybe about 10 hours of good sleep, and man was I tired on Monday, and Tuesday.

And I totally skipped school on Monday, stayed home, watched a movie, What Dreams May Come, and slept until 2, and I was going to go in for History, but I slept right through it. And what I hated most was that feeling of lonliness you get after spending a trip with good friends and meeting new people. It's like we all become family, and when you leave them, you just feel lonely, and you want to be around them more.

And I met some cool people on this trip, and made some closer friends. And it was totally awesome. All you CA Musicians are mad awesome, and thanks for one of the greatest times of my life!!

The VA Beach Trip Part 6

The Award's Ceremony:
Some words I would use to describe it: owned, pwned those n00bs, hossed, destroyed-i think you get the picture.

There were four schools there, including us, and wow, were we blown away by the outcome. The chorus awards were first, and in Mixed Choir, Women's Choir, Jazz Choir, and Madrigals, we took first place in all of them, including an award for best accompanast, or however you spell, and Eric got that award for playing the piano. Then, instrumental awards. orchestra, wind ensemble, and jazz ensemble-all first place, and jazz ensemble won each award for each section of instruments in it. Drumline, majorettes, and marching band-first. Overall winners of chorus-CA. overall winners of instrumentals-CA. The only thing we didn't come in first in was symphonic band, and that was second place. And finally that award for good attitude and stuff like that, which all of us strived for the entire weekend, I bet you can't guess. Yeah, we got that too. And on top of all of that, our band director, Mr. Davis got into the hall of fame for coming to the festivals of music for 9 years. Total ownage for us, and with a good attitude. You just cannot beat that. And the picture shows about 10 people from CA holding all of the awards we won, and then the school next to us-two people, and one small trophy.

HAHAHA!! Man, it felt bad to win everything, and get all of those glares from the other school who got a total of like 6 trophies combined-all three schools.

The VA Beach Trip Part 5

Sunday morning, a georgeous day outside, as you can see by this picture. Very beautiful. Well, we all got packed up and brought our stuff down to the buses, and ate breakfast, and made our way to finish up with the drumline, majorettes, and the marching band. And this was one of the last times I saw the ocean at VA Beach, until next year.

We got to the school, and the majorettes went, then the Drumline-both very good. Then we watched the marching band, and one from another school, and we made our way to Busch Gardens.

And we first got there and had time for one ride, and we went on some 4-d ride about Ireland and magical creatures, and it was in 3-d, and our seats moved around, and it was pretty funny. Then we went to the award's ceremony.

The VA Beach Trip Part 4

Yeah, this picture is from Friday morning, but since we were stuck inside all day long, and I didn't bring my camera, I'll post this cool picture. And this site I'm using-flickr.com-I can't figure how to post more than one picture on at a time, but that's alright.

Saturday morning, we got up at 5:30 to get ready to eat breakfast and leave at 7:00 to go to the concerts. At breakfast, they have these mad awesome potatoes that are so amazingly good-I had so many. But, we first went to a church and watched the various choruses sing. The women's choir sang "ain't I a woman", or something similar to that, and this judge came up, a lady, and when supposed to be critiquing them, she talked about feminism and being a woman the entire time for 15 long minutes. And she was stompin' her feet and gettin' into the song, which wasn't even one of the songs that was to be judged, just a warm-up.

Then orchestra members had to leave early so we could get to our concert at some school. So we get there, have a quick lunch, and get on stage. And man, did we play like crap. But I did nail this part on one of the songs, and I was proud of that, but I totally screwed up on the rest of the songs. Then, for the next five hours, we sat in that auditorium listening to each group, symphonic bands, wind ensembles, jazz ensembles, and finally it was over and we got to leave. And our whole group had to go cause we were trying to get an award for the school with the best attitude and appearance and such, and this day was massively boring.

And the worst part-it was a beautiful day outside. Finally, we got back to the hotel, and a bunch of my friends and me got into our swimming stuff and ran out to the beach at like 8 at night-the wind is blowing and the sand is cold-and we jumped into the ocean-and instantly my entire body went numb. And I ran back to the hotel faster than I have ever run before. We got in the swimming pool inside the hotel, and it was so warm, and it felt so good, then we went to our room.

They got a lot of pizza from dominoes, like a 100 sheets, and so Mark, Linda, and I went down to grab some, and there was nobody there, and only like two sheets left, so Linda grabs one, and she's like "grab the other one", so I grab that, and we start to run out, and I see a six pack of pepsi in the pepsi container, and I grab it out and give it to Mark, and we make a mad dash to the elevator before we got caught, and we brought it up to our room, and had a great party. A bunch of people in our room again, and we watched Office Space-which is a pretty funny movie.

And that was Saturday.

The VA Beach Trip Part 3

Friday Afternoon after rehearsal.

I was out again on the beach with my friends, Mark and Cameron, and Matt playing some football. In the picture, Marc is the one right in the middle, and Cameron's the goofy one on the right. And sorry, but Matt didn't make it in the final cut. Better luck next year.

I was hoping before I came on this trip, that there would be some mad awesome LANage (LAN-Local Area Network-which is hooking up Xboxes together so you can play games with up to 16 people). But nobody around our room brought an Xbox, most of them were on like floors 5 and 6. My room did a little bit of Halo 2 playing, but Joe and me just dominated anybody, and so the others didn't want to play.

A little later, we rented a 6-person bike (i wish i got a picture of it, but i totally forgot). We had 5 at first (Anthony, Mark, Joe, Linda, and Me). And then three others joined us-correct me if i'm wrong, but I think they were Missa, Sarah, and Sam? But yeah, it was fun, and we totally rode up and down the entire boardwalk. After that-Captain George's-a super good seafood restaraunt, although i'm not a fan of seafood-so i ate ribs, and corn, and rolls-a very non-seafood meal.

And, with my portable DVD player, we got it hooked up to the t.v. and watched Enemy at the Gates, which I thouroughly enjoyed.

And what's funny about this trip every year, is that when there are members of the opposite sex in a room, such as Mark and Joe's girlfriends, or others who just stop by, just about every guy on our floor would see the open door, and be like "hey, there's probably girls in that room", and they just walk right in. It's hilarious, but cool to be the cool dudes on the floor, except for the room a few down from us who had DDR and played the ENTIRE TIME that we were at VA Beach, and it just blasts through the entire floor. And that's that.

The VA Beach Trip Part 2

Friday Morning-5 o'clock:unpack stuff from the bus and get hotel keys and go to room. And my group got the same chaperone from last year (Mr. Bleier-a really cool guy), and we got the highest floor in the hotel, and we stayed at Howard Johnson, or HoJo. It was the 8th floor, but when we got on the elevator, there was no 8th floor. There was floors 1-7, and PH. And everybody in the elevator was like, "what does PH mean", and I told them that it meant "pretty high". It actually means the Penthouse floor-that's what it used to be but they changed it into normal hotel rooms. But it was funny to tell all the kids that we had huge beds and a jacuzzi bathtub and huge tv's, but we really didn't.

I didn't do any more sleeping cause it was like, whoa, we're in VA Beach!! So we unpacked and talked about stuff and watched tv-most of the stuff on was about the Pope's funeral. And then at about 8 or so, I went out with Joe and played some beach volleyball with like 30 kids that were out there. And we dominated the entire game. I had some amazing kills, and so did Joe, even gave a kid a bloody nose. Haha, there were so many kids on each team, that you couldn't miss one. Then, we had rehearsals, and free time for a few more hours.

And that was Friday Morning. Very fun, and a heck of a lot warmer than upstate NY-even when the weather is crappy and it's raining.

The VA Beach Trip Part 1

Hey peoples reading my blog. I am finally going to tell you about the wondrous things that have happened to me on my mad awesome voyage to VA Beach (although it really wasn't a voyage becasue we traveled by bus-Coach USA).

So, yeah. We all got to skip out of afternoon classes to get ready, and we were going to leave at a quarter to 1:00, but lo and behold, a problem arose just like every single year. The bus drivers have log books, and they were not accurate, so one of them could have been some extreme terrorist set on killing a busful of musicians because he really hates music for some strange reason. Maybe somebody sang so high that they broke glass, and shards of it careened through the air and killed his family. So this guy really hates music.

So, while we waited for new bus drivers, we watched The Waterboy-hilarious movie. Great! Then, at about 3, we were on the road. And I was supposed to be on bus 6, but with the use of my amazing skills I talked my way on to bus 3 with my roommates and super cool friends, although I didn't get to sit with them. So on this bus ride, I listened to music, did a very little tiny bit of homework, which I wouldnt' touch again the rest of the trip, and I read 2 books. Yep, that's right. 2. Although I really had them halfway done. Then, I watched Napolean Dynamite-awesome movie, see it if you haven't, but I know that everybody who has a life has seen it atleast 50 times. Yeah, well, I watched it on my new portable DVD player-7" screen, LCD monitor, and 16:9-meaning widescreen capabilities.

We stopped in Pennsylvania for a quick pit stop, and it was really cool, cause there was a valley down below, and a whole bunch of fog. Then we hit the road again, and at about 5 in the morning on Friday (this all happened on Thursday), we were in front of our hotel-and it was raining out. But that's it for the first part of the mad awesome trip to VA Beach.

It's Tuesday, and I've been gone a while

I'm back finally from my VA Beach trip, but I have so much to write about it that it will take quite a while to complete, and right now it's late, so I plan on doing it hopefully Thursday. And tomorrow, I'm going on a field trip to Canada, and I won't be posting tomorrow. But Thursday is looking good to write everything (or almost everything) about the trip-and I have pictures!! So it will be super cool.

Allyn's Mad Awesome Humpday Challenge #1

Yep, this is a new thing i'm going to start doing, making a challenge for the people reading this. As of right now, I have no idea of what i'm going to challenge you with, but I'll come up with something. And, I in no way mean to be perverted with "humpday". It's Wednesday, the middle of the week, so you're at the top of the hill-or the hump. And I did take this idea from Bungie and Halo 2, cause they are the rockingest bunch of people ever!

Last night there was a CA concert, and it lasted for 3 hours! Lo and behold, orchestra goes on last, which is bogus garbage cause it was 10:15 at night and there were about 20 people in the audience. But the drumline was mad awesome. And, consequently, I was really super tired today, and fell asleep in a lot of classes. But, I did get most of my world lit. paper typed up, and now it is too long (exceeding 1500 words).

Today, I am packing for VA Beach, cause we leave tomorrow!!! Oh yeah suckers who have to stay back and not go to VA Beach!! I got a super awesome portable DVD player, and I'm bringing my Xbox, and it's going to be a blast! So, I'll be off for the weekend, but hopefully be back on here on Monday.

Well, the challenge i'll give you guys is to try to figure out how to change music bought from iTunes from mp4 to an mp3 file, so that i can use it on my mp3 player. Just leave a little note under the comments underneath this post. Thanks! And that's it for now.

Tuesday...oh beautiful Tuesday

I'm back to write more, and I missed yesterday cause I had the SAT review class and I did a little skateboarding with my good friends Chris and Cody. He's got a kicker, and I got some sweet air off of that bad boy, and the only one out of the three of us to land something going off of it. But only just ollies, although I did try to go for a 180, which I almost did a couple of times. A few more hours of practice ought to give me that sweet 180.

Well, today, I was so amazingly tired, and could barely stay awake during seminary. Oh yeah, I guess I should explain this to those of you who don't know what I'm talking about. It is a church class very early in the morning-6 a.m. This is every weekday morning, Monday through Friday, but I still enjoy going to it.

At school, I got an 88 on my math test, and so a 90 average for this 3rd quarter. So far, I'm hoping for about a 92 average overall, and I hope I can make it there. After school, I got my SAT review book in the mail-and it is huge! 800 pages! Wow, I hope this gets me prepared for the SAT in May-which is on Junior Prom, which is going to be awesome!

I'm hoping that for this VA Beach trip, I can get a portable DVD player, cause that would rock! there's one at radio shack for 130 bucks, and it has inputs for game play, so i could watch movies going down, and play my xbox-that would be so totally cool-i would be the stud on the bus, although there's only like 4 other guys-just like last year when there was 8 guys and 40 girls, and I thought we were going to get stuck with a bunch of dumb girly movies, but lo and behold, we watched Tommy Boy and X-Men 2. Crazy.

I'm also putting together an RPG game, based on the D20 game, and it is going to rock when I put it all together. The first adventure takes place in a battle in the jungle. And that's all I have, cause I cannot release any more of the game, cause it will spoil it. What I'll do is when I get the game going with my friends, I'll post the storyline up here and It will eventually be like a book. Well, that's it for now. Goodbye until next time.

The Weekend Post- April 2/3

Well, I'm back from my grand adventures over this weekend. It all began with a practice SAT test on Saturday morning, which killed me. 4 hours of testing, and my brain was shot. I then watched the grand old General Conference for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, which was awesome, like it always is. Well, that took up the rest of my Saturday, and all day today, until now. And if you want to, you can watch and/or listen to it at their website-truly great stuff from our general authorities of the Church, and you can listen to it in about 37 different languages, which is cool.

The Pope of the Catholic Church has passed away over this weekend. Best of wishes to you Catholics, and hopefully your next pope will be just as good. But, let me tell you, Gordon B. Hinckley, the President and Prophet of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, is in his 95th year, and he is still going strong-amazingly healthy.

Yes! Finally! My family is getting a Dish, and so we will have 120 channels of entertainment. Greatness! We have been living on channels 1-19, which is actually about 12 different channels, for about the past three years. It's going to be great to watch more t.v., like Comedy Central and Spike t.v., and I'm gonna have a rockin' time with it all.

Only 4 more days until I'll be chillin' down in VA Beach! It's gonna be awesome. And hopefully the weather will be better down there than it has been this weekend here. We have got dumped on with rain-almost flooding. There's so much water, and that means no skateboarding for me until it all dries up.

That's all I can think of to write down. Except for this one thing. I found a great website for one my many hobbies-pen spinning. If any of you at school have seen me, I spin my pen very often-great thing to do when you are massively bored. And I'm getting better and better at it. Allyn's First Review Friday

April Fool's Day to everbody! Hope you enjoyed it and were not the fool, but the fooler. I saw a great prank today, involving a peanut-butter and mayo sandwich and milk flavored with lemon juice and salt. A guy ate half the sandwich, and was offered the milk to wash down the nasty taste, and when he realized what it was, threw it at all of us laughing at him. Luckily, I got away with just a small splash of it, but the guy next to me got the majority of it. But it was hilarious!

I just thought of something funny, for all of you who make fun of me and the way I say theater. So, I say thee-ate-er, when most of you folks say thee-ut-er. So, what's worse, saying "The Aters", or saying "The Udders"? Haha, gotcha! But seriosly, a "thee-ut-er" is where you go to see a play or an opera, whereas, the way I say it, or in other words the right way if you're talking about the movies, "thee-ate-er", that's where you go to see movies.

So, I'm going to, every Friday, have my very own review of a movie that I have recently seen, whether it be in theaters or on tape. So, my very first review: The Ring 2. Overall, I enjoyed this movie quite a bit, and I am an avid fan of the first. I even did a speech in English on The Ring, so I have watched it over and over, and almost know it inside out. But, the funny thing is, after seeing the second one, my whole speech was totally wrong, all my theories garbage. But, hey, I still got a 90 on it. Well, back to the review. Compared to the first, this one wasn't as scary, but still had its moments. The storyline was good, not great, but was still enough to keep you interested. The characters were amazing in this movie, and the little kid really starts to freak you out, although he has been taken over by Samara. I should explain the plot a little, so none of you are totally lost. The family, whose name has totally slipped my mind, move to another town, but are still found by Samara, who takes over the kid's body. The mother tries all that she can to get her boy back, and the only time they are safe from Samara is when they are sleeping. Kind of reverse of Nightmare On Elm Street.

Well, here's my score: I give this a movie a 8.8 out of 10. While it was a great movie, there were points when it didn't really feel original. But a great movie otherwise and I thouroughly enjoyed it. And do you know what? I hate this kind of scale, so forget about that 8.8. My new scale is:
*****-mad awesome, spend the money to see it, and then see it again, and buy it on video
****-great, spend money to see it, maybe buy it when price goes down
***-decent, not worth the money to see in movies, rent it
**-poor, if you can see it for free, take the oppertunity. otherwise, don't see it
*-crap, do not ever waste your time with this garbage of a movie

So, I give this movie, Ring 2, a ****. Go see it. Well worth the money.
