The end of Spring Break

So, now, Spring Break 2006 is just about over. I hope you all enjoyed it. I sure could have enjoyed it a little more. Lots of work...lots of sitting around my house doing nothing. Why do I do that? I've got a car outside. I could go anywhere I want to. Maybe I should have gone out and done something fun with friends I don't get to see a lot. But I didn't. Maybe I should have done some studying, because my IB tests are coming up in a couple of weeks. I feel like I won't get my IB diploma...test scores too low, and I guess I have given up. But I've got like a week to study for six tests.

1) Math
2) German
3) Economics
4) Biology
5) English
6) History

Yeah. I should be studying for every one of those classes. But, I haven't. I just wish that these tests were over. Cause I'm not really looking foward to taking these tests. I think it comes close to 16+ hours of testing. It's gonna be a painful month. But, then it's gonna be over, and I'm gonna "chill" until graduation.

So, the end of Spring Breaks marks the beginning of the last push of my grade school career. This comes down to the final days of me being a kid, and closing in on me joining the real world.

t3h Recent Happenings in my Life

Well, two weeks since my last post. That's because I HAVE NO LIFE!! It's only two weeks until I have no life for 3 weeks. I will be eating, sleeping, breathing, living IB testing. My life will be pure garbage, but once they're done...I will be done with school, for the most part. Movies in half my classes, simple homework in the other classes. No worries. I'm even thinking about skipping every once in a while, like every Friday.

Well, anyways, these last few days, I have been at youth conference with my church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It was mad sweet. Thursday, we got there in t3h evening, and we had a dance, and it was pretty cool. That night, I watched Fun With Dick and Jane. It was a pretty funny movie. So, Friday, service project in the morning at various nursing homes. I helped do a little bit of landscaping, and it was sweet fun. We then had a little devotional thingy, where we went around to various rooms at the Palmyra Stake Center. Each room dealt with a different point in Jesus Christ's life, and it was really cool. So, Saturday, we had an Amazing Race, and I was chosen as the leader of my group, and there were six groups in all. We named ourselves "Waffa", or however it's spelled, which, I think means "beautiful people". But anyways, half my group did not want to "race", and walked and enjoyed the swings and stuff. Well, we went out of order, after I burned the envelope with the order on it (which shows my leadership skills), and so we were DQ'd. But, we did beat the team we faced off in dodgeball, and we would have beat any team, cause our team was amazing.

So, after that, we had a testimony meeting, where people go up and say their thoughts and what they believe about the church and the gospel and Jesus Christ, and stuff. Then, we had another dance, and it was mad sweet. We rocked that house, Cameron and me. But, we never did find those girls who rode in the van with us up to the Palmyra Stake Center on Friday. We never got their names, and we didn't really remember what they look like. We only knew that they would respond to the singing of Sesame Street songs, cause that's what we sang on the way there.

And, that's all I'll put down about that joyous adventure. And that wraps up youth conferences for me, and I'm sad that I am not going to be a part of that most amazing conference.

I'm back!

So, I got on the net today...and I decided to finally try to resurrect my blog from t3h grave. Maybe people will read this. Maybe people won't. Maybe I should not tell anybody about me restarting here, and see how long it takes for someone to realize that I am doing so. Or maybe not. But anyways. Yesterday was April 1st, as you all know, and that means April Fool's Day. As an avid gamer, I know what to expect from the various gaming sites that I visit almost daily. I know this is the time of the year that these gaming nerds will put out false content, maybe new releases, or fake cheat codes. Maybe a new ESRB rating. Well, there's some great ones I saw this year, and I am here to share them with all of you guys. So first, gamespot came up with a few good ones. First, there was the new ESRB rating, pictured here:

So, I'm sure you guys can read what that says, so I won't write it. But, this rating is given to games that are just pure garbage. Like "20 to life", and other crappy games. Next, a little article on the Nintendo Revolution. Analysts predict that this system will be the top seller by 2010. Ha. If any of you are gamers, you know that this is the falsest information. Nintendo hans't been the top seller since like the SNES. And with monsters like Sony's PS3 and the Microsoft's t3h Box that Rox, there's no way Nintendo can compete at their level.

And, finally, I feel this is a large April Fool's joke. I tell you a little secret-I even believed it. The announcement of World of Starcraft, supposedly the new MMORPG that Blizzard is releasing by the end of this year. It's the #1 game on gamespot at the moment, but when you click on the link, it takes you to the PC page on gamespot. Complete fake. But, I was inclined to search more about this supposed new game. I went to the Blizzard website, and there was not one word mentioned about a "World of Starcraft". Pity. Sounded like a fun game, even though I was not one of the 6 million+ gamers who got involved with World of Warcraft, which I might add, is larger than the population of Ireland.

As for me, I was never pranked this year by anyone I know, I think. I never pranked anybody, just because I didn't want to think of something hilarious to do. But, I gotta say, last year's April Fool's did get me. bungie.net announced for Halo 2 that if you did various things in multiplayer gaming, the commentator with the big booming voice would say things. I tried it for about 3 hours that night until I realized that it was April 1st, and I did feel like a fool. But, one of the greatest jokes in gaming was the release of a cheat code for DOA Beach Volleyball. If you don't know what this game is, it is a bunch of girls with bikinis on and large...well, you get the picture. But these cheat codes were to remove the bikinis. That one got a lot of people. It never worked. I never had the game, and I never tried these cheats.
