no title

20 of December. 5 days until Christmas, 11 days until the new year, well 12 or so. Something like that. I did my TOK presentation today, on one of the best and greatest films ever made, The Matrix. I love it, and it's great to understand the very thoughtfulness that the movie has, and also the cool action tidbits.

3 more days of school before the break. I've got lots to do, and I'm putting it off until the very very end. Essays, assignments, tests to study for, christmas shopping. It'll get done. I hope.

But, after Christmas, and after the LOTR marathon, I am not looking foward to the holiday break. Cause I have a 4000 word essay to begin, not just write up, but to actually start. I have done no work other than brainstorming. Yeah, it's gonna take a while, and not be fun at all. But after that, my stress levels may go from way up in the sky to normal. And that would be sweet.

There were some kids talking about speaking to the Sophomores about IB and why they should do it, like advertisers or whatnot. They didn't pick me to do it. And I bet I know why. Cause I despise the IB program. I would go in there and tell every single one that the only reason to do it is if they do not want a life for the next two years, stress that will make them want to kill, and classes you don't want to take. I would tell them flat out, "DO NOT DO IT!! IT'S THE WORST THING I'VE EVER DONE!" And other than if, that's IF, I get my diploma, which there is probably a 99% chance of me not getting it, then it may come sorta close to have been worth it. I did it not because I wanted to get credit for college, or get accepted for college. I did it because it looked like a challenge, and I love doing challenges. And I wanted to be one of the first at CA to get the diploma. Well, actually 20 or so have already gotten it. So, I'll be one of the first 50. And that's it. Goodbye.

The decision is made...

Friday night...King Kong. Saturday night...The island. Great movies. I love 'em. And, so on Saturday, we finally came up with a date for the great LOTR marathon. Monday after Christmas. We're starting at 9 at night, and watching all three, to be finished somewhere around 7-9 Tuesday morning. We were hopin' to do the Star Wars marathon immediately following, but work schedules will not allow us. So, we will postpone that until later, hopefully still during Christmas break.

Which brings me to another thing. My extended essay. I need to start, type, think, whatever, about 5000 words during the break. Yeah, it's gonna be long and hard and tough and extremely boring. But I have to do it, or Sisson will have my....on a platter. Yeah. It's gonna suck.

That's all today. It's like 12 days until the new year, and I'm like 7 posts behind.

Well now

The truth has now been released. I AM NOT SMART. I just give effort to things I do. I am just as smart as anybody else. Except for the potheads and etc. And there's no way I'm getting into MIT. They'll look at my SAT cores and laugh, and then they'll look at my GPA and throw my application away. It's the truth. And, I got my Bio test back today-74. Yeah. I'm stupid. I don't know why I'm in IB.

So, I saw King Kong today. It was a great movie...as you would expect from something big and hairy...Peter Jackson. He's a cool guy. Did LOTR, and is the exec. producer for the Halo Movie. But, King Kong was a great flick. Sad at the end. Full of excitement. 3 hours long. Yeah...Peter Jackson likes the long movies. Well, It's quite early in the morning. I'm gonna be heading off to bed. Goodbye until next time.

Wednesday...Hump Day

So...today is Hump Day. And, I have found out that I am in the pit orchestra. Sweet sweet love. I got my bass book for the part, and it looks like some pretty nifty pieces to play. A lot of music, a lot of flats (like 5 in a few songs in the key signature). But, I can't wait. And...I also got teh schedule for churchball. Only one month away, and I'm pumped to be playin' again. Cause this year, we're not gonna get cheated out of first place. We're takin' it. I don't want to suffer for a fourth consecutive year of being cheated. 3 is already too much.

I had to work today. So, I came home after school, did homework until 4:30, and took off. And it was like any other day at work, except that tonight, we're getting our press grill that was supposed to come like 3 months ago. And, I'm workin' tonight, and I might get trained on it. Sweet.

So, that's it. Now, I'm workin' on a college essay. The third draft. Maybe this time it will be great. Great enough to get into MIT. Since my standards are already lower than what they want. But, maybe with my record of IB, and an Eagle Scout, and living in various cultures, I might have a shot. I'll just have to find 40 grand a year to pay for it.

Tuesday of Math

Well. I got my test back in math. 79. And there was also the math league. It was held in Penfield. I did some tough catergories. And I only got 3 points. 3 points out of 18. Ha. I did so bad. One kid got all 18 points. And our team came in 3rd place. Brighton almost doubled our score. Or, in 3 of the 6 catergories, they had enough to win. Rough stuff. I'll tell you what. That'd be it for now.

Number 2 for 12

Still monday. I'm just getting myself caught up. Yeah. Well, I got some Trans Siberian Orhestra playing. It's that song from that Christmas lights rock thingy. Look it up on google. I'm too lazy to put a link up. There's also standoff. Google that as well. Very very funny. But yes...It's great.

And today, school was boring...as usual. And somebody very much pointed out that there are like 198 days left of school. Goody-joy! 2/3 of a year to suffer through. But the good thing is that Christmas is only 13 days away. And I need to get presents.

And that's it. Very shallow and pedantic. But I don't care.

Dang...

I'm behind. I knew it would happen. So, I'm gonna cheat and post two today. So ha. There. I'll still make it to a hundred. I was thinking about giving it up, but then I decided to like...umm...keep going cause there's atleast two people reading this. Haha, who am I kidding? There are two people...no more.

Today, monday it is. And tonight, IB super have we party. Cause we special are. I had to make 36 cookies. And I still have to go buy a present. And I don't know what to get. I'll look at Topps for a bit and see.

Magnificolente

This is like the 75 or some odd number like that. I'm getting closer. And nobody is leaving any comments, so I'm guessing that nobody is reading this stupid waste of internet space any longer. But, I'm still gonna type. Cause I do.

So, today-3 tests. Economics, Biology, English. What a killer day. I swear my teachers get together and plan this crap. They're like, hey, I'm gonna give a test on Wednesday, so you should too. And then they all give tests on everything.

And, I have work in about 40 minutes. And my cellphone has died. It does not work any more. I don't know why, but I feel so vulnerable without it. That's all I have today. Short and sweet.

Post number 75...and only 26 days left.

Well...Nothing great has happened in the life of Allyn since I wrote last...like yesterday. But there were some little tiddlies. One...I have somewhat of a written college essay done. I'm gonna try, I don't know if I'll succeed, to begin getting my applications in by the end of the week. I'm gonna do my best. Also...well, that's about it. I did spend my day Sunday at Cameron's playing some more Xbox 360, and I really truly love it.

I also found this really super great xbox 360 ad that will not be aired on t.v. because of the "violent" content involved. Ha. That's funny. 'Cause there's not a drop of blood in this commercial. Very comical...You've gotta watch it if you have not yet. RIGHT HERE BE THE LINK. Crazy Hilarious.

Aiaiaia...I missed a couple of days

So, I missed a couple of days. Dang. Now I really gotta be on the ball. Life is decent still. Most of my weekend has been filled with Xbox 360 playage, which I love doing. Friday night there was this ARC thingy with Christmas stuff going on. I helped with cookies, but didn't do much because there were like 12 other girls, yes girls, in the group. Pretty sweet stuff being the only guy in the group, and, since it was an NHS activity, they are also smart. And, one even called me, "a pimp". Haha. I'm in no ways a "pimp". Far from it.

Saturday, I did the SATs, the subject tests. And they were long and boring. I'm glad I'm done for good with that stupid testing stuff-no more SATs, no more ACTs. I'm pretty happy.

And, my mom's b-day was yesterday, the 3rd. They went out and ate breakfast while I was taking the test. Which sucks. Cause I wanted to eat. So yeah, only like 27 days left until the end of the year, and the beginning of a new one. Have a great Sunday. Finish your homework, and enjoy the next 3 weeks of school without a day off other than weekends. It's gonna be a haul, but nothing compared to the 6 or so weeks between Feb. break and Spring break. And that's all for now.
